Up On The Roof
The rains fall in opaque sheets, soaking them to the skin in seconds. Rivulets course down their faces like floods of tears, dripping from brows and noses and ears, transforming hair into yellow-white ringlets and hanks of shag tobacco.
Shirts are stripped away so eager hands can trace cool sculpted muscle. Jeans are torn and shredded in their haste to touch and taste. Then finally, skin to skin, like rain slick satin silk. Sliding, clinging, grinding, grasping, teeth and tongues and trembling, with a counterpoint of lightning strikes and loud bass pounding thunder.
Rooftop terraces were made for vampire lovin'.
"Twas a dark and stormy night, and..."
Muffled giggles interrupted, and Spike broke off to scowl.
"It's just... Nothing. Never mind. Tell the story."
Spike glared at Xander suspiciously before relaxing back into his tale.
"Twas a dark and stormy night..."
"Have we got mice or did you just squeak?"
Xander snuggled deeper into the mattress and tried to look serious.
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again. Please, tell me the story."
"Twas a... Oh, for fuck's sake! It was raining cats and dogs and I was soaked to the skin and freezing, and this git walks up..."
