Concrit: yes/no/in email

I recently got involved in a discussion on feedback - what's expected, what's accepted - in vampirefever's journal here, and I brought up the idea of adding an extra line into fic headers saying whether or not concrit was welcome, and if so, whether it should be in comments or by email. lostgirlslair jumped on the idea and asked if she could use it, and I decided that the more people who took up the idea the better it would be. So, to this end, I am urging my flist and the membership (and readship!) of bloodclaim to add one extra line to your standard fic headers. LG will be making a similar post at watcherlove too, and I'd love to open a fic post and see 'Concrit: email me!' or even 'Concrit: no thanks'. At least that way obsessive fbers like me would know that Author X doesn't want to know that her Buffy sounds more like the Buffybot.

I keep my headers in a separate text file so I can just copy and paste and not spend time trying to remember whether I've covered everything, so this is now the new look:

Author: darkhavens
Title:
Chapter:
Pairing: Spike/Xander
Rating:
Feedback: darkhavens @ slashverse.com
Concrit: by email, please
Disclaimer: Not mine, never will be. No harm, no foul, no money made.
Warnings/Squicks:
Summary:
Previous chapters:
Notes:

I know it looks a lot, but it covers everything anyone needs to know, and headers I don't need for a particular post are easily deleted.

ETA: As spikedluv has correctly pointed out, there's no real need to add an extra header. You could simply change your 'Feedback' header to read 'Feedback and Concrit'.

(I blame my headcold. I've shaken most of my braincells loose.)
