Summary: Xander insists on celebrating Halloween, but Spike refuses to go out trick-or-treating. So they compromise with costumes and role-play and the occasional bit of kink.

"Can we go trick-or-treating, Spike?"

Xander produced an award-winning pout and gazed soulfully up through long spidery lashes.

"Xander, you know I don't..."

The wattage of the pout-and-puppy-eye combination was cranked up and a quiver of bottom lip was applied.

"Right. Pick a costume."

Xander didn't hesitate. "Dracula!"

Spike sighed and tried to remember where he'd put the wig and cloak

Half an hour later Xander is strolling through the trees behind the house when he is pinned by a hypnotic gaze.

"Well, aren't you a pretty one. You're going to do exactly as I say..."

"Yes... Master."

"It's Halloween, Spike."

They had discovered through trial and error that silk was the best for this particular game. And so, in double-quick time, Xander finds himself strapped to the iron-framed bed, rough cotton at his back to tease those nerve-endings while his front is draped from head to toe in yards of whisper-thin white silk. He's never sure if he's supposed to be the ghost, or if that's Spike, but after an hour or so of not-quite skin-to-skin contact he forgets to give a damn and instead expends his energy voicing pleas for sweet release.

The knock at the door came two long, lonely hours after Spike had disappeared saying he had promised to go and play poker with Clem and some friends. Xander had sulked for an hour and then defiantly started in on the Halloween candy.

His mood changed once he looked through the peephole and saw the blond, uniformed officer standing outside, holding up a badge. He opened the door.

"Alexander Lavelle Harris? I'm Officer William Summers of Sunnydale PD. We've had a complaint from one of your neighbours about unnatural sexual practices being perpetrated on the premises. Can I come in?"

Van Helsing

"Can we try something different this year, Spike?"

Suspicion darkened vivid blue eyes as they scoured Xander's carefully crafted expression of innocence.

"I've told you before, I'm not going out trick-or-treating and I'd rather wear plaid than go to one of those stupid costume parties. What exactly do you have in mind?"

"I saw this movie last week at Buffy's. The hero was hot, even Tara thought so. I've already got the coat and the hat and..."

"All the Bit's talked about this week is that Van Helsing git. You can't mean..."

"Yeah, Spikey! I wanna play Stake the Vampire!"

Aint it just wonderful? That tight uniform and all the hardware and... ::shivers:: And all topped off by that peaked cap! *g*

Glad you enjoyed.
darkhavensdarkhavens on November 2nd, 2004 03:36 am (UTC)

Oh yeah! *g*

I can really see Spike in that neat, tight little cop uniform with the cuffs and... what were we talking about? ;o)

Hee! I couldn't resist 'Officer Summers', but Spike is just wicked enough to do that to see if he could shake Xander out of his 'role'. And the alliteration just happened, but I could hear him saying it as I typed it and it made me giggle.

And Dracula/Master was a must-have.

Don't they have fun? They're just as cute as they can be! Did Officer Summers get to use his nightstick on Xander?

Did Officer Summers get to use his nightstick on Xander?

Bwahahahahahaha! I never even thought about that. I was too busy thinking about the handcuffs. *g*

Thanks! There were a couple of draker ideas floating around in my head, but I just wanted to play with the boys, and dress-up is always fun. *g*

These are so precious. Xander is such a master manipulator, and I suspect he learned it from the best.

Love the last one especially.
darkhavensdarkhavens on November 2nd, 2004 06:31 am (UTC)

And yes, I suspect he has been studying at the feet of the master manipulator. *g*

Van Helsing was one of literati's suggestions, and it gave me the idea of Xander turning the tables. Glad you enjoyed!

Oh, it is. *g* One silk sheet, two interested people, and no skin to skin contact allowed. ;o)

Glad you enjoyed them.

And I'm sure the way Spike and Xander play it, 'Stake the Vampire' is a very fun game. ;o)

Ah, Spike in costume - especially as a cop. . .*sighs*

So when are you gonna do the other Village People, I wonder? There's still a construction worker, an Indian and a something else. Spike in a hardhat, Spike in warpaint. I would so read that. And drool, let's not forget the drooling.

Great work, great to read -

"It's Halloween, Spike."

My favorite, established a longterm relationships dialogue, without hitting us over the head. Explains it subtly and well. You rock.

Yay! Exactly what I was going for. :o)

Spike in warpaint

Spike in feathers? So not going there! LOL!

And Xander's already done the hardhat thing better than I could possibly hope to. :P

Oh, cute! So much fun. I love "Officer William Summers."
darkhavens: sx kisskiss [me]darkhavens on November 3rd, 2004 03:50 am (UTC)
I needed a surname for him and I figured Spike would be just evil enough to pick that one rather than use his own. Just to wind Xander up some more. Hee! Glad you liked. love the icon!
