Summary: Jack can't get a moment's peace any more
Notes: Written for slashthedrabble prompt #185 - Haunt(ed), and for Day 5 of mini_wrimo.

Jack sometimes wishes he had a hologram of Nathan in a diamond, just so he could turn the damn thing off once in a while. The version of the scientist that's haunting him is uncontrollable, and out of control.

At first, he figured it was just the usual cocktail of grief and guilt - he's been there, done that, got the shrink's bill. For almost a month after a.38 slug had spread his brains across the wall, Jack had seen his partner Corrigan huddled over a steaming mug of coffee in their favorite sandwich shop, or hanging around the office trying to steal McClelland's Tootsie Rolls from his bottom desk drawer.

But Nathan Stark isn't fading into oblivion like the other painful losses in Jack's life tend to do. On the contrary, he appears to be growing stronger, becoming three dimensional, more solid, more there.

Jack's pretty sure that Nathan must be a hallucination. He hasn't once demanded Jack explain his ghostliness to Alison or Henry, so that's a plus. But he pops up in the shower while Jack's jerking off, and in the bedroom when Jack's sleepy and suggestible. And Nathan does suggest…

Pretty soon, Jack's going to stop resisting.
