I'd never heard of Scribblit before you mentioned it. Why should I consider them -- a site that isn't up and running yet -- instead of more-established sites like JournalFen and Insane Journal? What made you consider them as a viable alternative?

I've created a personal journal and a Bloodclaim at GJ, IJ and JF too. :D
This is less about deciding on Scribblit as the viable alternative, and more about...covering the bases? making sure nobody creates an evil twin/bastard child of bloodclaim?
I hate to think fandom is going to end up leaving and/or fragmenting over this, but it's a very real possibility. Also, I have no idea which way the majority will jump, so, again with the covering of all bases.

::nods:: Understood! I co-mod a figure-skating fan community (fs_watchers); I'm starting to think about moving it elsewhere. After all, a lot of figure skaters are underage, and who knows what could be misinterpreted and get it banned on LJ... ::sigh::
