There will be fic again eventually, I promise. I'm actually able to read more than a sentence at a time now, so the writing thing is sure to come back soon. ;)

So, way back in March, a Microfic Meme appeared on my flist and I snagged it. The idea was to write ten sentences in ten genres for a particular fandom - Angst, AU, Crack, Crossover, First Time, Fluff, Humor, Hurt/Comfort, Smut, and UST.

I did it for John/Rodney (Stargate Atlantis) and then forgot about it until yesterday, at which point I went a little mad and also did the meme for Spike/Xander (Buffy), Bruce/Wally (DC Comics/Toons) and Sam/Dean (Supernatural). Today, I finished off the set with Jack/Nathan (Eureka).

This is what happens when I want to write but can't choose a fandom, let alone a genre. *g*

I've been tagged for a five things meme by anyasbuttmonkey so here goes:

Name five things (most) people don't know about you:

1. I still sleep with the teddy bear I was given at birth. He goes on holiday with me and once almost caused me to break up with a boyfriend that later became my ex-husband. (X threw my teddy across the room because he was 'getting in the way'. I informed X that teddy had been sharing my bed a lot longer than he had, and that if he wanted to continue to share my bed he could damn well get out of it right now and fetch my teddy back. He did.

2. My hen night was raided by the police. I had a hugely illegal lock-knife in a pocket in my bag. The cops were so busy passing around my leather jacket to read the rude pins and badges that they didn't seem to notice they hadn't searched said bag. No arrest for me, yay!

3. I still have my xmyth tree up from xmyth 2001. And I will not take it down because that would make Eeyore homeless. Besides, it's pretty!

4. I collect glass paperweights with tiny glass fish in them. Yeah, I know - sometimes I wonder about me too, but they're so tacky and cute! And I'm Pisces, so it's a thing, okay? :P

5. I can easily spend an hour stargazing on a cloudless night - more if I have my starmap with me. And I still get a buzz from (and make a wish when) seeing a 'falling star' even though I know the scientific explanation. I also still play at finding pictures in the clouds, sometimes even on my way to work. :D

I recently got friended by my 260th friend-of (is still boggled by this) so this seems like a great way to meet all the newcomers and interact with all the known perverts (you know who you are!).
