Hi, I found this great entry from two years ago that listed several D/s stories with John and Teyla. I hope that some more have been written since then - any suggestions? I want something kinky, and I don't care which character is on top. D/s and/or S/m would be great. (Other pairings that work for me are anyone/Cadman or John/Heightmeyer.)

Blimey that is hard. Overall I just want to be happy, which I am at the moment. What I really want is to be able to find a new job when I get made redundant. One that I like and with people I get along with. I don't think anything is going to top what I have at the moment but I can at least hope for something I enjoy

I also hope we manage to find a nice place to live. Our flat is okay but a little small and right in the city centre so very noisy. It'll be nice to live somewhere a bit quieter and with more space.

Other than that I'd like to get a holiday organised. So far I have no plans to go anywhere but that's mostly because my job situation is so unstable. Ideally I want to go to Vancouver in either August or September but that will depend on my new job I guess.

I'd also quite like to visit Stonehenge this year. It was a contender for a place to go when I wound up going to Glastonbury last year. Not sure how practical it is to get to without a car though. Mind, saying that, once I get my redundancy package I'm going to buy a small car so that might help.

Oh, and I'd love to meet Misha again ;)

Hello I'm in search of three fics there all Mcshep & i'm fairly sure there all pretty old.

I'm sorry in advance but these descriptions are going to be quite vague.

First one : Definitely AU, fairly sure it's a first time fic. set in the past I remember a brothel which John worked at (but not as a rent boy) He gets talking to Rodney at the bar & Rodney mistakes him for a trick. John's attracted to Rodney so he plays along not realising Rodney's never been with a man before. After that I remember Rodney's father beating him up & disowning him  but not much else.

Secondly: Rodney's an artist who hires John to model for him, I remember an appartment with a skylight & Rodney worried about the light not being right, again pretty sure this is first time (as it's my fav genre well angsty first times to be precise but still )

Finally & vaguest of all I'm affraid does anybody remember a fic where Rodney lives in a house thats isolated from everything & John suddenly turns up on his doorstep. I konw sorry vague but I just remember they start out antagonistic & end up growing closer & then John disappears again & Rodney realises that he's in love with him I think

Just repeating what I said when Jensen and Danneel got engaged.

Jared and Gen have announced their engagement. Bashing will not be tolerated and I will defriend anyone who does. RPS is not reality, and I admit I have bashed Gen's ability as an actress in the past but that has nothing to do with who she is dating. I wish Jared and Gen all the happiness.

Looking for a story that i cant remember the title to or the author, and its driving me nuts looking for it. Any help would be much appreiciated for my sanity.

John and Rodney are already a couple, and teyla is dating a marine.
John and Teyla have had a falling out and as such both their partners are suffering via moodiness and no sex.
Teyla broke her marines gameboy.
Rodney keeps moaning to the marine, much to his horror.
At one point Rodney points out to the marine that John and Teyla will have Comparied their cocks, or something like that

Due to a fire Teyla and John make up.

It's been a while since there's been an essay posted here, so I figure a new year might be a good time to see who'd like to write about fanfic and writing!  Workshops come in many flavors, including but not limited to:

1.  Rec Manifestos:  A listing of favorite stories centered around a character or pairing.  An excellent example is this Dick/Tim Rec Manifesto by snake_easing , which is nicely grouped into genres and includes a lot of delicious meta about the pairing.

2.  Ship/Character Guides:  An essay that explains the appeal of a pairing or character and talks about different ways to write them.

3.  Comic Book Reviews:  Reviews of a title, author, artist, or trade paperback.

4.  Writing Meta:  Any general discussion of writing issues--hints on writing dialogue, sex scenes, pacing, description, or anything else that interests you.  Gaps in the schedule I'll probably fill with links to interesting meta-discussion I've found on the topic, but I'd love to see what people came up with!

Workshops are usually posted on Monday, so let's start planning for them in February to give the first writers some time:
