Horbling IV was a resounding success! There was much fine food, good company, new fic, and copious amounts of booze. Together we managed to traumatise one waiter, terrify one chef, repeatedly abuse one caped monkey and several anatomically correct knitted men, and communicate in multiple fandoms with only minor disorientation and repeated 'Who did what? I don't know him, what does he look like? Ooh, nice! Carry on!'s.

Today's mini_nanowrimo entry is a little different from my usual fare. While reading this news post, I spotted a plug for Answers.com's latest Creative Writing Challenge. They give a list of 10 words that must be used correctly in a composition (poetry, essay, prose, fiction, whatever) of no more than 750 words. The listed words must be hyperlinked to their Answer.com entries.
